Confidopay UAB, located at Mėsinių g. 5, Vilnius, shall be responsible for the processing of your personal data pertaining to the provision of its product or service. In this capacity, Confidopay shall function as the designated ‘controller’ of your personal data.

This Privacy Policy is established in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations 2017 (“GDPR”) and constitutes an integral component of Your initial and ongoing customer relationship with us and our commitment to Your privacy.

In this Privacy Policy, Confidopay (hereinafter: “Company”, “Confidopay App”, “we”, “our”) shall inform You about the collection, use and processing of personal data when using our website https://confidopay.com (hereinafter: “Website”) and our mobile app (hereinafter: “App”; jointly called: “Services”).

We will explicitly point out in case any information of this Privacy Policy refers exclusively to our website or App.

In this context, personal data means all detailed information about personal or factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person, such as name, telephone number or address. We process Your personal data either within our business relation if You are a Confidopay App customer or when You are visiting our website for informative purposes.

Information about Your locationWith the activation of location services within the ConfidoPay application, the platform utilizes GPS technology to monitor and record the User’s geographical location.

Customer rights

Under certain circumstances, you have the following rights under the data protection laws in relation to your personal data:

  • Right to access, correct or erase your personal data. This enables you to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it, correct any inaccuracies or request (to the extent permitted by law) the deletion of your data.
  • Object to the processing of your personal data where we are relying on a legitimate interest (or those of a third party) and there is something about your situation that makes you want to object to processing on this ground as you feel it impacts on your fundamental rights and freedoms.
  • Request restriction of processing of your personal data. This enables you to ask us to suspend the processing of your personal data in the following scenarios:
    • If you want us to establish the data’s accuracy.
    • Where our use of the data is unlawful, but you do not want us to erase it.
    • Where you need us to hold the data even if we no longer require it as you need it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
    • You have objected to our use of your data, but we need to verify whether we have overriding legitimate grounds to use it.
  • Request the transfer of your personal data to you or to a third party.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where we are relying on consent to process your personal data.

Please note that when applicable exceptions apply, some or all these rights may not be enforceable. This will be the case, for example, if we have reason to suspect you may have been using our platform for unlawful purposes. In these cases, we can either refuse to, for example, erase your personal data and transactions record, or agree to do it within a certain reasonable time that would allow us to confirm or waive our suspicions.

You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is unreasonable, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we could refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.

We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it could take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.

We retain your data only as long as is necessary and only for the purpose for which we obtained it. Our retention periods are based on business needs or legal obligations and your information that is no longer needed is either irreversibly anonymized or destroyed securely. We will keep your data related to the exercise of any rights set out above for a period of 12 months from the relevant exercise of rights.

Age restrictions

Our website and services are not intended for children under 18 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are under 18, do not use or provide any information to us without parental consent. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 18 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information.

If You use a password for the Confidopay app You will need to keep this password confidential.
